Dalmatino Dubrovnik

Toller Abend! Wir hatten einen tollen Abend im Dalmatino in Dubrovnik. Von der Vorspeise über die Hauptspeise bis hin zum Dessert war wirklich alles top. Der Lachs war perfekt zubereitet und auch die Weinempfehlung war richtig gut. Besonders aufmerksam: Da meine Freundin Geburtstag hatte, wurde uns das Dessert als kleine Überraschung mit einer Fontäne serviert und das sogar kostenlos. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön auch an unsere Bedienung Paul – super lieb, sympathisch und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Outstanding service & great vegan options - we returned two nights later! Two of our magical meals in Dubrovnik. From first glance, Dalmatino looks like the other restaurants on its street, but what sets it apart is the outstandingly warm, welcoming, attentive and generous service. We were looked after so well. We are both vegan and really appreciated several legitimate vegan options which were clearly labelled on the menu. We would recommend the vegan steak dish and would like to give credit to Dalmatino for embracing the use of Beyond Meat for this - so many places don't and instead just offer a plate of veg as a 'substitute' for animal protein. As ethical vegans who appreciate a meaty-tasting dish, we didn't feel like we were missing out and really enjoyed the meal. We noticed that on both nights, we were not the only ones who were ordering vegan food, which was so positive to see. The staff were incredibly knowledgable about the wine list - and helped us explore a variety of Croatian wines which we hadn't before. It was no problem to try a couple -they genuinely wanted to ensure we had the right wine for our meal. The exception service we received was notably on a super busy night - totally full! Instead of feeling like we were in the way waiting for a table (circa 15 mins) when we arrived, they were super grateful to us for hanging around and even gave us a glass of fizz to wait with! We had such a fab experience that we returned two nights later, and to our hugely pleasant surprise were given the vegan dessert as a 'thank you for returning' - wow! That says it all. A beautiful restaurant, on a beautiful street, with a beautiful heart.

Lovely place to eat Lovely little restaurant recommended to me by ChatGPT and Instagram. Cute place on a scenic side street, amazing bread/ butter basket, truffle mushroom pasta, and Croatian red wine. Good for people watching, friendly service, I would definitely recommend forward.

Good!! It was a good experience with really good food. We order the Royal platter for two. It was big and tasted so good, and the tuna was absolutely incredible. The service was good and the waiters was nice and helpful. You should also try the chocolate fondant too! It was a perfect and of a good evening.

Very good food in quiet section of old town. Reserved for 2 people for lunch. Had a Croatian beer and a glass of local Rose’ and bottle of mineral water. Ordered the fried anchovies (really sardines) and the Black Risotto. Both were excellent. The anchovies were served over a bed of greens and black olives. The Risotto had cuttlefish and was topped with a large grilled shrimp. The portions were ample; we shared each dish. Total price with beverages was 52 Eu. The bill asked for a tip and the service was excellent, so we did. The restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating, but we chose to sit inside in a very nice air-conditioned room to escape the unusual heat wave. Highly recommend.

Extremely high quality food Amazing food, very reasonably priced considering the very high quality of the food. I had the veal risotto, which was cooked perfectly and the best risotto I've ever had. My boyfriend had the duck which looked like something out of masterchef, and was so succulent. If we had more time, I definitely would have dined there again. Our waiter was very attentive, especially considering how busy it was.

Great professionalism displayed at Dalmatino I had dinner at Dalmatino with friends and family at the end of May 2026. I had booked a table outside and when I went there I was told that the previous couple had not yet left. After they apologized they immediately led us to a table inside, offered us some Prosecco (on the house) and gave us the menu so that we would choose. Every now and then, someone came and informed us that our table would be ready soon. After 10’ they came, carried our drinks, menus and led us to our outside table. They helped us choose the right dishes and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the calamari and several dishes with pasta. They were all well prepared and tasty. I would gladly revisit Dalmatino as I seldom witness such professionalism. I recommend Dalmatino for their food and service.

Wonderful We had breakfast at this restaurant every morning of our stay, it has a great choice of food, as much tea and coffee as you can drink and great service. Paul is a huge asset to the restaurant, friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the area. Thoroughly recommend

Good dining experience Their food was incredible. I had their homemade makaruni which was bursting in flavors. I didn’t have to wait long for the food to be served and it was warm and fresh. Their service was amazing too. They listen and address your needs. The restaurant is located in Old Town which adds medieval atmosphere while dining.

Gf df seafood heaven As a gf df girlie it’s not always easy to find delicious food and a variety at that. Can 100% recommend this restaurant. The octopus salad, grilled calamari, oysters and house white were all as excellent as the service.

Amazing Stake was the best that the lads had in years. I had the beef cheek pasta and it was absolutely amazing. The duck lollipop was delicious. Highly recommend. Amazing service and staff to top it off. Ps the house wine was lovely.

Beautiful food, great staff and wonderful atmosphere The foood was amazing. We had oysters, falafel and a stunning seafood platter with lobster, tuna, sea bass fillets, prawns and scallops on wok fried vegetables and sauteed potatoes. It was beautifully grilled and full of flavour. The reastaurant is small with an amazing huge brick oven, which they used until a few years ago. There is outside seating with heaters and it is in one of the beautiful narrow lanes off the main street in the old town. The street has lots of restaurants and is fun and lively as well as romantic. The staff were fantastic and the food was beautiful. The whole dinner was great value and the experience was wonderful.

Paul is a super waiter! Beautiful food. Down a beautiful street with wonderful architecture all around, soothing music and fire heaters for the chill. The tuna steak and black risotto were delicious. Our waiter Paul was super friendly and interesting, also very good value for money, not overly expensive. I recommend eating here!

Fresh, clean, tasty and fine surroundings. Beautiful location with heaters if you want to sit outside. Paul, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. We had anchovies to start and then we shared tuna steak and black risotto between 2 of us, with a salad and some house red wine. All were delicious, fresh and generous in portion size. So yum! My mom and I stopped by for lunch and everything was super yummy. She got the octopus salad and I got the mussels! The portion sizes were very good and our sever, Paul, was super amazing too! I wasn’t sure which cocktail I wanted, so he custom made one for me (soooo good). Def recommend stopping by if you have time!

Great restaurant with cosy and chill vibes. Food and atmosphere was really lovely, great time to travel during February as it’s not too busy and crowded. The food portion was huge and reasonable prices. Our service was great provided by Paul, even providing us with a local dessert on the house. Highly recommend 10/10 for couple and families.

Visited twice to keep trying menu! Traditional food, local ingredients, cooked well, set in a street full of character (sit outside) We had the squid and pork dishes that were excellent! Really impressed with the care given to providing gluten-free options and explanation of where ingredients were sourced. Slightly slower service second visit but food was just as good.

Good service, nice vibe, good food Located up one block of stairs from the main drag in the old town. Go for the outside seating if weather permits and watch the world go by. We had a tasty beef tartare and a good squid ink risotto, and some merely ok mussels. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices were par for the old town.

Probably the best restaurant in Dubrovnik They are not the cheapest. Or most original. But maybe the best in Dubrovnik as all they make is perfectly prepared and tasty. I overheard one of the owners (?) Tell a guest that they buy everything from private farmers while most other restaurants buy from supermarkets so there may be that. But they are great and consistent, I first visited 10 years ago and the grilled calamari were just as perfect today. I also had the Black Rice a local classic they do really well. Bonus points for the free shots of Orahovica and a very friendly Filipino waiter I exchanged travel tips with when the place had all but emptied on a weeknight.

When I went to the bathroom, I took out my fanny pack and left it in the restaurant bathroom. It contained 1,000 euros, an international debit card with its PIN, and most importantly, my passport. - I called the manager and found it safe, and even though I offered a 100-euro tip, they told me it was their obligation to return it and they refused to accept my tip. - Long live the Dalmatino Restaurant, long live the residents of Dubrovnik, Croatia - something unique in the Latin American world. - I'll see how I can leave a tip for the staff. Lovely restaurant We arrived and initially the head waiter seemed to be reluctant to put us outside. However he saw that it was our preference and asked us to wait inside until he found a table. We had complimentary prosecco and Kir. The food was wonderful. The service was great. The prices weren’t bad for Dubrovnik and the standard of food and service. We can highly recommend it so much so we have booked to go again Thursday!

We stumbled upon the Dalmatino Restaurant serving a wonderful breakfast (8-11) with a self-serve coffee/tea bar. Breakfast started with orange juice, two types of rolls, cream cheese, mixed berry jam, butter & Nutella. The Classic Breakfast with 2 eggs made to order, bacon, baked beans, a slice of cucumber and a cherry tomato was so delicious.

PERFECT!! BEST RESTAURANT IN DUBROVNIK absolutely perfect, staff were amazing and did everything they could to make our experience the best it could be. Vedran served us and he was amazing. food was so good and everything was cooked to perfection. I strongly recommend the pork it was beautiful.

Very good seafood. We had the calamari and mussels and everything was very good. It was a little warm but they can't help the weather , but our food and drinks was all very good.

冷たいガスパチョ最高 6月も最後でかなりの暑さ、城砦内の散策で疲れてきた身体に、沁みる冷たい冷たいガスパチョは最高です、玉ねぎより人参優位でかなり辛味も強いこの冷製で熱った身体が生き返るよう。イカ墨のリゾット、更に烏賊のグリル。最後はROZATAとエスプレッソ。ご馳走様でした。

Fantastic service and an outstanding meal We had an outstanding dinner at this restaurant. We actually arrived at this restaurant in error (a reservation mix up from my part). They went out of their way to find a table after a short wait. Nothing was too much trouble. They were so kind to my children. The oysters were amazing and the lobster pasta was sublime. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Fabulous local food Dalmatino is fabulous, some of the best food we had in Dubrovnik. It's off the main street on Prijeko Ul., which has literally dozens of restarants on it. We had the Black pork which was excellent, and also the mussels buzara, and came back for the Shrimp and Pistachio Pesto.

Lovely food and restaurant Lovely restaurant and lovely staff. We got the prawn and pistachio pasta, and salmon dishes which were delicious. We had to wait quite a long time for the bill, but the waiter kindly gave us a free glass of wine each to make up for this, which we really appreciated. Definitely recommend!
